TVN JN Camellia – Don Mac (Camellia japonica ‘Don Mac’) is a classic evergreen flowering shrub prized for its large, formal red blooms that appear in late winter through early spring, providing rich color when much of the landscape is quiet. Well suited to Central Florida gardens, it performs best in partial shade with protection from harsh afternoon sun and prefers well-drained, acidic soil kept consistently moist. With its glossy, dark green foliage and upright growth habit, Don Mac works beautifully as a specimen plant, hedge, or foundation planting. Mature plants typically reach 8–12 feet tall and 6–8 feet wide.
