TVN JN Camellia – Early Autumn (Camellia sasanqua ‘Early Autumn’) is an evergreen flowering shrub prized for its early-season blooms and glossy, dark green foliage that provides year-round structure in Central Florida landscapes. It produces soft pink, semi-double flowers in fall—earlier than most camellias—making it a valuable source of seasonal color when few other shrubs are in bloom. Early Autumn performs best in partial shade with protection from harsh afternoon sun, prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soil, and benefits from regular watering during establishment. Ideal for hedges, screens, foundation plantings, or as a specimen shrub, it responds well to light pruning after flowering. Mature plants typically reach 8–10 feet tall and 6–8 feet wide.
